- I managed to locate the LAN Workplace / Workgroup patches LWP168.EXE and
- LWP41N.EXE on ftp.novell.com (under somethihhing like epub/netwire/novlib).
-
- I've downloaded these files and followed the installation instructions and
- guess what? Nothing happened. Lan WorkPalce still operates fine, but
- Winsock apps are still dead in the water. Mosaic just sits there instead of
- trying to open the home page.
-
- Does anybody have any idea what i could be doing wrong?
-
- I'm also trying to get Trumpet Winsock to operate over ODI drivers. that
- also does not work. in fact, the only reason I even wasted tim elooking for
- the LWP updates is because I couldn't get trumpet to work. AAARRRRRGH!
-
- Novell, are you out there?

- Subject: Looking for code samples - ftp or telnet
-
- Hi there:
-
- I'm new to WINSOCK and am looking for some code samples. I found a great
- article in Microsoft Systems Journal (July 1993) but still have many
- questions.
-
- I wonder if anyone knows of some sample code for either an ftp or a
- telnet client that I could browse. I need to see how ftp/telnet run over
- WINSOCK for a small program that I want to write.
-
- Thanks,
-
